Humanism is an approach to life that emphasizes the use of critical thinking and evidence-based reasoning to understand the world and solve problems. As humanists, we place a strong emphasis on human well-being, ethical behavior, and compassion. We empower members of the Omaha humanists community to be advocates for expanding participatory democracy and the growth of an open society, standing for human rights and social justice.
Humanist Explorer is a social group for humanists and like-minded individuals in the Omaha area. Through social events, educational discussions, or community service projects, we strive to promote humanist values and create a welcoming environment for everyone.
