Exploring Positive Humanism: Being a Positive Humanist
March 20, 2023 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
$5.00Positive Humanism, a flavor of humanism, focuses on promoting well-being and flourishing through individual and pro-social actions. This session concludes our exploration of positive humanism with a look at ways one can go about putting this applied philosophy into action.
While this concludes our series, you don’t need to have attended a previous session to attend. During this session, we’ll look at tools you can use to be more intentional in the practice of positive humanism (or humanism in general).
Optional Pre-Session Work
Since positive humanism emphasizes evidence-based practices for achieving well-being, we thought it would be great to wrap up the session by hearing from Alli about how she uses the CliftonStrengths Assessment to help her clients improve their well-being.
Before Monday’s session, if you want to take the Top 5 CliftonStrengths assessment, you’re welcome to do so. There’s a $20 fee for the assessment, so Alli’s made sure to structure this part of the session so that you’ll benefit even if you didn’t pay to take the assessment. If you’ve taken the assessment before, head over to gallup.com to log in and see your results. If you are having trouble because you cannot remember your login details, just click “Need help with username and password,” and they will give you instructions. Your results are still available to you, no matter how long ago you took it.
